What is the Community Like?

The demographics really vary based on which area of the neighbourhood you are looking at. Those living in the Heartland subdivision for example, tend to be families, or young couples starting out. The price point is much more affordable here than the other two communities within the East Credit Village.

What is the Housing Like in East Credit Mississauga?

Credit Point

These are beautiful homes, built in the 1980’s and early 1990’s. These houses have a traditional feel, and older character than a lot of the other homes. These houses are close to the river, and exclusive.

Heartland

This is a much more affordable area, especially for families, and young people, first time buyers, and/or retirees looking to downsize. The lots are not very big at all, but the houses do have a lot of the modern and high end finishes that so many people want today in a home.

Credit Meadows

This area was built in the 1980’s, right in close to the Credit River. These houses are large, with high end finishes, and modern designs. There is a lot of curb appeal to these homes, in addition to the beautiful views of the river. These houses are for those looking to live in an area that screams high end.

Town houses from $600,000 – $750,000

Semi Detached from $750,000 – $900,000

Detached from $730,000 – $1,300,000

What are the Schools Like?

All of the schools in East Credit rate fairly, with good scores on the Frasier Report and in EQAO Testing; however, none came in any top rankings. Streetsville Secondary is known for having a strong set of extra curricular activities.

East Credit Mississauga has beautiful houses in every area. While some are more of the “luxury” standard, the townhouses provide people looking to live in this desirable neighbourhood a chance to, without paying upwards of $1 million dollars. This community is highly sought after, and will not be going down in value anytime soon.
