We are now in the middle of a very active market. A large amount of homes for sale have been listed in the last month and this means good news for the buyers. There is more variety in the types of homes for sale, but more importantly there is more variety in the prices as well, with some of the more affordable homes being on the market right now. Those who could not buy before, now have a larger variety of homes for sale to choose from. I CAN HELP YOU get a nice home. If you are looking to buy, NOW IS THE RIGHT TIME!

CURRENT DEALS and OPPORTUNITIES (homes for sale)

  • For an example on some of the current deals on homes for sale, there is an 1800 square foot detached home, less than 20 years old with a 180 foot deep lot, yes 180ft,  poolin a back yard, just off Bristol and Kennedy Rd in Mississauga for $579,000!!!Needs nothing, just move in. IT WILL NOT LAST LONG!!!
  • I have just helped my buyer buy a gorgeous home, 2200 square feet, with$30,000 in upgrades, less than 1 year old, in Alton Village in Burlington for $619,000 which is almost $50,000 lower than the comparable property in that area.
  • There are still detached homes for sale in Milton, Burlington, Guelph, and Stoney Creek for under $450,000.
  • There are a number of distress sales on the market, as well as foreclosures that must be sold. Please call me immediately if you are interested.
  • High end homes with prices over $850,000 to $1,000,000 and plus are sitting longer on the market and now is the time to negotiate better prices as sellers are panicking and looking to get out

They may not stay this low very long since we are nearing May/June and, traditionally, good deals on mortgage rates that are available now, will not be available in a month or two. If you want today’s rate but you are planing to buy a bit later, I suggest that you get the mortgage pre-approval now and the bank will usuallyhold the rate for you for 3-6 months at the same rate until you are ready to buy.
